Sam The Dog Trainer is committed to making our website and digital content accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and continue to improve the user experience for everyone.
What We Are Doing
Providing text alternatives (alt text) for non-text content such as images of dogs and training demonstrations
Adding closed captions and transcripts to all training videos on the “100% Housetrained” course and future courses
Ensuring the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone
Using sufficient color contrast for readability
Creating a logical heading structure so screen-reader users can easily understand page organization
Testing regularly with automated tools and real users with disabilities
Current Limitations & Ongoing Improvements
We are a small, independently run business and are actively working to resolve remaining accessibility barriers. Known items we are addressing include:
Adding complete alt text to older images
Providing full captions and downloadable transcripts for all video content
Improving focus indicators and form labeling
Adding an accessibility adjustment toolbar (in progress)
We expect these improvements to be completed by February 28, 2026.
