I am a premier dog trainer and behaviorist for Laveen, AZ I’ve trained several dogs in Laveen, AZ in the past couple of years; some obedience lessons, but primarily behavior evaluations (note I don’t inflate my numbers… let’s be honest, Laveen is a bit far away for most Phoenix area dog trainers, and I’ve heard it is hard to get a good dog trainer in your community). I normally have students living in Laveen come meet me closer to Phoenix if possible. I had a customer from that area who was a teacher, with a miniature Chihuahua, and in a wheel chair. We met in central Phoenix and trained at a park, which saved her money. We also did a handful of lessons at her home to deal with issues there. I have to charge extra for mileage and time if you live far away, but it’s worth it when you need a good dog trainer or a professional evaluation. The best times for me to do obedience lessons in Laveen is mornings or weekends. Same with evaluations. Once they punch in the new highway, then it will get easier to get out there, but in the meantime it’s just a tough commute. But, if your dog has a serious issue, then it’s better to work out a schedule and pay the necessary funds instead of putting down or getting rid of a dog that can be turned around, right?
